A little care goes a long way.

We know little ones can be messy, and their favourite hats tend to go everywhere with them. From everyday adventures to unexpected spills, a little cleaning is sometimes unavoidable.

To help keep your Little Buck® hats looking their best, we've put together a few simple care tips to maintain their colour, shape, and quality.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few important things to remember:

Skip the washing machine and dryer. Machine washing and high heat can damage the shape, structure, and materials of your hat.
Never use the dishwasher. High temperatures and harsh detergents can cause fading, shrinking, or damage.
Avoid bleach and harsh cleaning products. Gentle cleaning is always best.
Hand-clean whenever possible. Spot-cleaning is our preferred method for preserving your hat's original shape and finish.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LITTLE BUCK® SNAPBACK

STEP 1 — PREPARE YOUR CLEANING SOLUTION

Fill a clean bowl or sink with cool to lukewarm water. Add a small amount of mild, bleach-free laundry detergent and mix gently.

STEP 2 — TEST A SMALL AREA

Before cleaning, test your solution on a small, hidden area of the hat to ensure the colour doesn't transfer or fade.

STEP 3 — GENTLY SPOT-CLEAN

Using a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush, gently clean any dirty areas. Pay extra attention to the sweatband and spots that tend to collect dirt.

Be especially careful around embroidery, patches, stitching, and decorative details. Avoid excessive scrubbing.

STEP 4 — REMOVE THE SOAP

Dampen a clean cloth with fresh water and gently wipe away any remaining detergent. Repeat as needed, avoiding unnecessary saturation of the brim or structured front panels.

STEP 5 — PAT DRY

Use a clean towel to gently absorb excess moisture. Avoid twisting, wringing, or squeezing the hat, as this can affect its shape.

STEP 6 — RESHAPE & AIR DRY

Gently reshape the crown and brim while the hat is still damp. Place it over a small bowl or a rolled towel to help maintain its natural shape.

Allow the hat to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.

A NOTE ABOUT DIFFERENT MATERIALS

Not all hats are made the same. Certain fabrics, finishes, patches, and specialty designs may require additional care.

For corduroy, suede, distressed finishes, structured brims, and other delicate materials, we recommend gentle spot-cleaning only. Avoid soaking or fully submerging these styles.

Water-resistant hats may also have specific care requirements to help maintain their finish.
